Our Team

Meet Our Founder

Lia Ek is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and co-founder of Bluebird Mental Health. With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, she has worked in residential and outpatient clinics, and was the psychotherapist for over one hundred inmates at a California State Prison. Lia’s mission as a therapist is to make quality mental healthcare accessible to vulnerable populations that have historically been left out including the Autistic community, immigrant families, and the LGBTQ+ community. In her free time, Lia enjoys bird photography and is an eager conservationist of the Eastern Bluebird in Oklahoma.
